Next session on Wednesday January 11th, 10 am at WOW!
Yes, learning French can be fun! This is an opportunity for children from 1 to 5 years old to learn the basics of the French language while participating in games, dancing and singing. Simple vocabulary will be taught and pronunciation will be introduced in this interactive class. Kids will be encouraged to participate! My name is Véronique, I am a native French speaker, and I have been teaching French either in groups or individually for more than 5 years. I also teach adults but I especially enjoy sharing French with little ones. And it is so much easier to learn a language when you are young! Six week session: Wednesdays from 10-10:40am starting on January 11th (1 to 5 years old), $9 per class ($54 total). Enjoy the museum after class at the discounted rate of $6.00 on that day (just mention you are taking the French class at check-in). To register for class or if you have any questions, contact Véronique at (303) 661-9511 or veroniquecarney@yahoo.com. Please note that the Louisville library will be closed on Friday 11th, French storytime will be on Friday 18th at 10:30 am this month.
We will be reading about Thanksgiving. Come and have fun with us, we'll be reading but also dancing! |
A thought:I believe that learning a language should be a fun experience for little ones. It is never too early to learn French; actually, the earlier the better, they won't even realize they are learning, and their accent will be so much better--they might even have no accent! Archives
